Where is Westbury Fields?

Located in the suburbs of north Bristol, Westbury Fields is a retirement community with real charm. It is conveniently located so everything you need is close to hand. Westbury-on-Trym is less than a mile. Shops, restaurants, a library and other amenities are within walking distance whilst nearby transport links offer quick routes to the centre of Bristol and beyond.


The cricket club

As a resident, you’ll become an honorary member of Bishopston Cricket Club, which has made Westbury Fields its home. Matches have been hosted here since 1935 and the leafy surroundings offer a haven of calm away from the world outside. Take afternoon tea in the pavilion whilst watching the action on the cricket pitch. You’ll also find our resident croquet team on the adjacent lawn.


Offering a wide range of amenities and activities

No matter what the weather, social events and activities are part of everyday life at Westbury Fields. Enjoy a spot of indoor bowling, try walking rugby or get active in the gym with your own personalised programme. Enjoy your favourite pastimes or try something new from our extensive programme of activities. Enjoy the friendly pub atmosphere at The Cricketers or experience quality cuisine in the Sommerville restaurant, both offering food to suit any dietary requirements. Using fresh, seasonal and local ingredients our award-winning chefs are proud of the delicious meals they serve on a daily basis. Menus change with the seasons and residents are invited to help choose what delicious dishes they’d like to enjoy throughout the year.
