Innovative design features such as motion sensors, that gently light your en-suite bathroom, to finely tuned mattresses for the perfect night’s sleep, are there to make every day that little bit easier for you. Enjoy every modern comfort in beautifully decorated suites, complete with furnishings that can be adapted to your personal taste. All our rooms have full height windows, so spaces are bathed in natural light and offer views of the world outside.

Our team of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and their assistants provide advice, support and treatments so residents can remain as physically active, mentally stimulated and socially engaged as possible. This service is available free to all our care home residents.

- ​Dementia nursing care
We believe that a key part of creating sensitive and pleasant environments for people who are living with dementia is the quality of the relationships that we build. Our flexible approach to dementia care within Charterhouse is focused on reducing anxieties and encouraging the capabilities of each individual resident so there’s purpose and meaning to every day.
- Respite and short-term care
Some people come to us for short periods of between one week and up to six weeks. Rooms can be booked in advance, so you get to choose when you’d like to check in and check out (subject to availability). We take care of you from the moment you arrive and our specialist team of healthcare providers are there to help with whatever you need.
- End of life care
Working with you and your loved ones, we’re there to provide relief and support for as long as you need us. We’re nationally recognised for our award-winning palliative and end of life care, which sensitively encompasses all aspects of your physical, spiritual and emotional well-being. Our focus is on ensuring that pain is well-managed and that your personal wishes are respected at all times.
- Rehabilitation and reablement
After a spell in hospital we offer space for recovery and recuperation, creating restorative care plans based on your needs. With the expertise of our team of health professionals you can get back to your best as quickly as possible.
- Residential care
Our new residential care wing offers the assistance and security that comes from living in a care home to those who don't need nursing care. Our friendly team are primed to provide personal and practical support to make it easy for you to continue enjoying your life the way you want.
- Therapy team
Every St Monica Trust care home has a dedicated therapy team on-site, so they can work proactively with residents and respond quickly whenever their skills are required - enhancing our residents' mobility, independence and well-being.
