Young at H’art
Young at H'art is a small community art group based in Barton Hill in Bristol and is a valuable group for many older people who live on their own. In 2023, we awarded Young at H’art a grant to support the group for 12 months. Beautiful examples of their artwork can be seen below, as well as outcomes which highlighted a clear improvement in feelings of isolation for their attendees.
Attendees reported that the group helped them “feel more relaxed,” “forget about their aches and pains” and they particularly enjoyed the “friendship” and “company” aspects of the group.
