Home Care

CONTACT US

Our home care service provides care and support for the residents of The Chocolate Quarter retirement village only.

Home care for residents of our other villages is provided by each village's care and support service.

We no longer provide home care for those in the general community. If you are interested in becoming a resident of one of our villages please see our village page or call our Sales Team on 0117 919 4257.

Care available

Care is available to residents in all our villages. Our carers are known for working closely with each individual to establish exactly what’s needed. From the frequency of visits, to selecting just the services you want, you decide on everything about your care and support options, including:

  • Household tasks, such as cleaning and cooking
  • Assistance with personal care like washing, bathing and shaving
  • Companionship and practical help whilst recovering from an illness
  • Companionship for social activities and appointments
  • Reminders and pop-ins for people who are living with dementia
  • Specialist personal support to suit you

To find out more and discuss your needs, please contact your village manager.

Flexible service

You choose the hours that work for you. That way our schedule fits around yours. And because our carers are carefully selected and extensively trained, you often only need one person to help with a wide range of different support services. What’s more, we only need 24 hours’ notice if you’d like to add any extras, so you always get the care you need.

Fast assessment

We know that arranging care quickly is important, which is why we do our utmost to make the process as easy as we can. With our fast track service, you can get an assessment within 24 hours, which can be provided over the phone or you can come and see us during office hours.

Simple pricing

It’s easy to budget with our home care service. We keep our pricing simple and there are no hidden fees. This means there are no extra costs for travel or any other additions. Be it 30 minutes or several hours we make sure that you only pay for the time you need.

Our standards

We are proud of the quality of services we provide. Sometimes it can be small things that make a huge difference to your enjoyment of life and at other times, the support you need could be more involved. Whatever your situation, we demand exceptional standards, which is why we carefully select, instruct and look after our own staff. This makes sure you will receive first-rate care from someone who is dedicated, experienced and well-trained.

We’re regularly inspected by the Care Quality Commission and the latest reports from these independent assessments are always available to view online. We also have our own robust quality assurance processes, review meetings and feedback processes, which allow us to honestly review the standards we promise to achieve. We are a learning organisation and always open to ideas and suggestions about how you think we could do better. That’s why the Trust has received national recognition within both the care and the hospitality sector.
