Why did you join St Monica Trust?

I have worked in care for many years and St Monica Trust has a good reputation and provides a good standard of care.

What do you get up to on a typical day?

I support residents with personal care, getting dressed, eating and drinking and attending social activities.

What is the best or most rewarding thing about your role?

Seeing the residents happy and content.

What challenges have you faced and how have you overcome them?

Managing to get everything done in the time given, which is achieved with practice and experience.

What's it really like to work here?

It’s friendly and a lovely environment. I get good support from my manager and other colleagues.

There is good training from the training department. They are always there to support you and there is good on the job training from my manager.

What's been your biggest achievement?

Being a respected senior by my other work colleagues.
