Why did you join St Monica Trust?
It was a new challenge – I’d previously worked in contract catering and hotels. This offered a better work life balance.
What do you get up to on a typical day?
Cooking, managing staff, solving problems and working with the teams.

Making residents and staff smile – adding humour to more serious times.

Getting used to the care home ethos and motivating the team through change.

Guiding the team at Westbury Fields to work in a full production kitchen.
