The St Monica Trust is pleased to confirm the appointment of Amy Herbert as Director of Nursing Homes.
Taking up her new role on 1 March 2021, Amy joined the St Monica Trust from the Orders of St John Care Trust where she was assistant regional director.
Amy has worked in senior management positions for the past ten years and has extensive experience in residential, nursing, dementia and domiciliary care settings.
Speaking about her appointment, Amy said: “I’m passionate about older people’s care and excited about contributing to the Trust’s mission of delivering the best experience of ageing.
“The new three-year strategic plan for how the Trust will continue to provide high quality, safe care and supported environments will be an exciting time for the charity and I’m looking forward to being a part of it.”
Chief Executive of the St Monica Trust, David Williams said: “We are delighted to welcome Amy to the Trust as the new director of nursing homes.
"In her previous role, Amy was the operational service lead for the management and commercial performance of Extra Care Housing schemes across the Oxfordshire area.
“The coronavirus pandemic has had a significant impact upon the Trust and Amy’s experience will be vital in ensuring we have the right structures in place to successfully navigate the charity's recovery period.”
